Pigeon Forge, TN: 4th of July Fireworks

One thing I didn't mention yesterday was that Columbus' 4th of July fireworks show was actually on July 3. And on July 4th, we headed down south to start our Tennessee trip. We had another chance to check out fireworks in Pigeon Forge.

Well...one downside was that it was rainy. The other was that we thought we'd be able to see the Dollywood fireworks from this parking lot, but we couldn't. These looked like they would have been good if we had been much closer. Better luck next year!

However, there was this awesome Ferris Wheel all lit up right next to us. It stayed red, white, and blue the whole week we were there (so no idea if it changes colors for other holidays), but it was always fun to see when driving around town at night, and was super festive for the 4th!
